Error-free Multi-Order Preparation with Aldata Pack to Light

The combination of voice-directed and Wifi display technologies in the Aldata Pack to Light system ensures that the right products are placed in the right customer tray or carton and in the right quantity. The immediate benefits are improved quality and service levels.

After being directed to the picking address, the preparation operator confirms his position by voice and then validates it by scanning or declaring a unique pivot code.

Each customer tray or carton has its own unique display which is linked by Wifi to the operator’s voice-directed terminal. Once the operator has validated his position, the display indicates the quantity of products to place in the tray or carton.

Each placement – either total or partial – is voice-validated by the preparation operator and is automatically deducted on the Wifi display. When “0” is displayed, the right quantity of the product has been prepared. The operator validates preparation completion by pressing on the button next to the display which then automatically switches off.

The next order can then be prepared:

• Either, at the same picking address, another Wifi display lights up;
• Or, the preparation operator is directed to another picking location.
