Système U Ouest have implemented Aldata's voice-directed warehousing solution in 10 of their 11 warehouses.

“We were interested in this technology because we wanted to optimize our processes, improve service levels, increase productivity and improve the image of the business with the use of high technology” says Système U Ouest’s Logistics Director, Ronan Le Gorre.“

The technology is now used by employees for picking, allocating, transportation and to carry out rotating and annual inventories. All of these activities are now undertaken easily. Wasted journeys to and from the warehouses have been eradicated along with the need to manually complete worksheets and forms. Tasks to be completed are automatically decided by the system and are directly transmitted to the terminals via voice.

Following the introduction of Aldata's voice-directed warehousing solution, Système U Ouest has increased productivity by 8-10% and reduced error rate by 4.
