Aldata Solution, a leading provider of software solutions for the retail industry, today announced that Cincinnati, Oregon-based National Marketshare Group Inc. and Milwaukie, Oregon-based Signature Sales Group, have both selected Aldata’s Apollo Space Optimization products to provide their retail accounts with the analysis, information and recommendations that drive the highest level of category performance.
National Marketshare Group represents dozens of consumer product categories – including baby care, consumables and general merchandise – within convenience stores, mass merchandisers, supermarkets and other retail stores. National Marketshare Group and its retailers use Apollo to exchange category plans, share ideas and conduct “what if” analysis to select the optimal combinations of SKU, shelf inventory and merchandising to improve category performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

With Apollo, discontinued products, new product introductions, updated UPC codes and other ongoing product changes are dealt with at the planogram level so that individual stores can avoid timely and costly manual changes to the merchandising mix. Apollo also helps with the planning process for seasonal goods, merchandise offered to particular geographies or any other store-specific requirements.
