Aldata Solution, a leading provider of software solutions for the retail industry, has expanded its European team with the appointment of Udo Preuss as Sales Director for the German region, for its Apollo Space Optimisation software. Preuss joins Aldata from Nielsen, working across the Spaceman product.

Retail software specialist, Aldata has rolled out its G.O.L.D. retail optimization solution across the Auchan Group’s newly launched Simply Market supermarket stores in France. The new brand has been formed by the merger of Auchan’s ATAC and Simply Market operations. Around 300 Simply Market stores have been equipped with Automatic Store Replenishment, as well as hand-held PDAs in store for real-time inventory management.
